About the difference of Evade

Originally, BR3 casuals was held on Dec.17th, but I couldn't hold it due to lack of participants, so I'd like to write a little column.
(as always, I'm sorry for the text left to Google Translate...)

The topic this time is "BR3's Evade has a performance difference of 1Por2P".

Evade specifications

First of all, about the specifications of Evade.

-Reception is between 9Frames.

For example, when evading an attack with a startup of 20frames, if you input Evade according to the 12~20frames of the opponent's attack, Evade will succeed.

-Evade will not succeed if the other party has not started the attack operation.

Evade has a specification that "If you do not input after the opponent starts the attack action, it will definitely fail".

For example, P of Bakuryu is the startup is 8Frame.
When Evade P of Bakuryu, it is necessary to input Evade after Bakuryu starts the attack, so you have to narrow down the input between 7Frames of 2~8 frames.

Here is the specification of Evade wrote before, but in BR3 of the PS2ver, specifications 1P/2P has been found to be different.

The player who selects the mode suffers a disadvantage

Specification difference between the 1P/2P is determined at the time of selecting the mode, such as Arcade and VS mode.
The difference in specifications is as follows.

chosedidn't choose
reception time 9F 10F
simultaneous restrictions restricted not restricted

Let's assume that 1P decides the training mode.
At this time, the 1P Evade has the specifications described earlier.
However, 2P Evade will change so that the reception will be extended by 1Frame and it will succeed even if you enter it at the same time as the opponent's attack.
This handicap is attached in all modes, not just training mode.

This slight difference is rarely noticed while playing the game.
One example that has a clear impact is Long 236236B in Hyper.
This attack is a Mid-Low double attack, and the startup is set to 1F for the second Low attack.
After HG of the first Mid attack, Evade cannot be successful unless Evade is input at the same time as the subsequent Low attack.
Here, the above-mentioned difference becomes apparent.
The player who decides the mode cannot Evade the second Low attack.
However, players who do not decide the mode can Evade the Low attack.
This is the "simultaneous restrictions".
